A 3rd generation jeweler, Artie Yellowhorse now lives in Corrales, New Mexico, has two daughters, and enjoys seven grandchildren. Daughters Desiree and LeiLani Yellowhorse play very active roles in the company. Desiree is a very accomplished jewelry designer too, and has made a name for herself with her beautiful necklace collections. LeiLani specializes in bringing handmade beads to life, and also contributes to the marketing, relations, and management of the family business.  A number of Artie’s grandchildren also work full or part time with her, as well.  Unquestionably, Yellowhorse jewelry is a family affair. Artie hopes that today’s Yellowhorse jewelry designs will live on to inspire the young artists of tomorrow.

My grandmother, Elfriede Jourdan, started buying jewelry from Artie Yellowhorse in the early 1980’s, when the two met at an artists’ show.  Our two families have continued to have close friendships and business relationships for over 40 years.  LeiLani, Desiree, and Artie are TRULY lovely people!  We are exceedingly proud to carry their beautifully handcrafted jewelry creations in our Gallery.
